This is part of a branded product page series which enhance the visual appearance. This particular product is the American Standard series. Since all American Fender® guitars are made by hand in America, this site needed to reflect that. The use of wood gives it the hardwood shop feel along with the Stars and strips to give it that good old American flare. All branded product pages are formatted the same way to give the user a familiarity. Each page is designed with a simple carousel that rotates out each guitar or bass in the series. This is part of a branded product page series which enhance the visual appearance. Road Worn was a fun project. These guitars are worn down to give it the "We've been on the road touring all our lives" look so the site had to reflect that. We gatherd iPhone photos from the Fender creative team to use in the website and brochure. The background consists of a lomography shot of a road leading a horizon. This is a complete rebranding and redesign of what was a very long-lived corporate site. Gretsch guitars are big and flashy, kind of like your dad's old Caddy rolling down the Las Vegas strip. The use of the bokeh effect gives it a nightlife look while the images and fonts are screaming out at you. I was lucky enough to be lead on this project for these gorgeous guitars. I took it from the very start of the rebranding process to launch date and enjoyed every minute of it. This site was developed while working at FMIC corporate headquarters.
